People respond more to emotions and feelings than to reason. If you’re trying to reason your way through your scenes, you’re not as apt to capture as much attention as you will if you feel your way through. Same with your characters. We don’t want you to tell us who you are, we want to experience you. Who you are and what you’re going through.
